Nickel Watch no. 11761

Case: Dial: Movement: Provenance: 19?? - CH Meylan, Brassus 2015 - ebay #401011053451, $250, 21 Oct 2015 "This is an antique watch found in a local estate. It is open face, stem wind and set, 50mm diameter (16 size). The movement is nickel, adjusted, and signed “C. H. MEYLAN, BRASSUS, ADJUSTED, 11761”. It has a good balance and runs a pit when I put pressure on the winding crown, but soon stops. It will need cleaning or servicing to be reliable. The movement is very nice and high grade. The porcelain dial is excellent. Blued steel hands. The case is nickel, with a hinged bezel and back. It was made by Keystone and is marked “SILVERODE”.
